Roadmap
What TomaTío does today, what we are working on next, and what comes after the public launch, with the value each step brings. The order is firm; the dates are proposals the team may still move.
In order of priority. Each step builds on the one before; the cards further down say what each brings.
We plan in our own brain. Our working roadmap, backlog, decisions and each person's daily task list are pages in a TomaTío brain of our own, written by us and our agents, every change attributed. On 28 October we moved it off the public demo onto its own server with the same migration tools every team gets. This page is its public summary.
What every TomaTío brain promises the people who use it. Export with the Portable Context Protocol (PCP), live on every brain since 28 October, is what makes it true; the promise goes in writing with the beta.
The core works now: a brain your team and its agents share, connected to Claude, that you can take with you whole.
Agents write memories and propose knowledge; a person approves what becomes the team's shared knowledge, procedures and house rules.
ValueAI work builds on what the team already knows, instead of starting from zero in every chat.
claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude Code connect with one address and a normal sign-in.
ValueWorks inside the AI tools people already use; nothing new to learn.
Export a whole brain with PCP: memories, knowledge, procedures, scopes, documents, pages and handoffs, with their history. Migrate it to a new server, move chosen scopes into a brain already in use, or import an archive as proposals a person reviews or as reference material.
ValueNo lock-in: your team's context moves whole to any host or tool that speaks PCP.
Erase what you choose and get a receipt; the receipts travel with every export.
ValuePrivacy you can show, not just promise.
Each agent sees only the scopes it is given. Every action is attributed to the agent and the person behind it, and kept in an audit log.
ValueTeams stay in control of their agents, and can see who did what.
Every change records who made it, from which AI tool and on whose behalf. Agents can cite the memories and knowledge they used, documents show who wrote each part, and every export carries a signed manifest.
ValueTrust what the brain says, because you can see where it came from.
People and agents write documents together, section by section, hand work over with context, and share pages, including interactive ones, through links that need no sign-in.
ValuePlans, briefs and reports live next to the knowledge they came from, ready to share.
A shared page keeps its data between visits and shares it with everyone who has the link, on any phone or browser: a leaderboard, a poll, a sign-up sheet, a feedback form. You pick what each page may save and who may change it; mistakes can be undone.
ValueSmall team tools without accounts, servers or a database to set up.
A page can show live content from the brain, let its viewers ask the brain a question, take file uploads and collect comments. Each is switched on per page, and a page only ever sees what its viewer may read.
ValueReplace hand-built dashboards and trackers with pages that stay current.
Add a shared page to the Home Screen or the Dock and it opens like an app, with its own name and icon. One link can give everyone a personal link with their own icon and a name only they can use, and open pages pick up a new version by themselves.
ValueGames and team tools that feel like apps, with nothing to install and no app store.
Documents and pages follow your brain's design, with its name, logo and colour, in light and dark. The people allowed to edit a page can fix it right on the page; every save is a new version.
ValueWhat the team shares looks like the team's, and fixing a sentence takes seconds.
Allow it for one connection, and your AI can create, edit and publish for you without a review step when you ask it to. Each of those changes is marked in the audit log; administrators can turn it off for the whole brain, and any document can be locked to require review.
ValueAsk by voice and it is done, and you can still see who did what.
A new brain starts with a team scope, and a Get started checklist walks through connecting an AI and writing the first memory.
ValueUseful in minutes, with nothing to set up first.
A plugin for the software behind over 40% of the web, running on your host's servers next to your sites.
ValueYour context stays on servers you or your host control, not in an AI provider's silo.
Founding teams get brains of their own. The code goes public on GitHub as soon as the guides and a short explainer video are ready.
The code public on GitHub under the GPL, with a ready-to-install zip and a checksum for every release. The software is built and checked; it opens with the guides.
ValueThe same software we host, on a WordPress install of your own. No private fork, nothing locked.
A few teams get a private brain each, free, handed over with a one-time sign-in link, with uptime alerts and backups.
ValueReal teams on real data, with export on from day one.
Getting started, connecting each AI, sharing, your data and leaving, and troubleshooting, plus a short explainer video. The README already covers installing, connecting, updates and leaving.
ValueTeams get going without help from us.
New versions show up in WordPress's own Updates screen, checked against their checksum; one click, or automatic. Live once the code is public.
ValueSelf-hosted brains keep getting every improvement, safely.
What is stored, where, who can see it and how to leave, with the Bill of Rights.
ValueTeams know what they are agreeing to before they put anything in.
Anyone can install TomaTío, and hosting companies can offer it.
From a zip on ordinary WordPress hosting to a brain connected to Claude, in under 10 minutes, then kept up to date without doing anything.
ValueA shared brain is a small step for any team, not a project.
Hosting companies can include it free with their plans, with an advanced tier for larger brains.
ValueNo new vendor or contract: it comes with the hosting you already pay for.
ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and other tools, alongside Claude.
ValueOne brain for the whole team, whichever AI each person prefers.
The plugin goes to WordPress.org review at launch; the listing follows in December.
ValueInstall from inside WordPress by searching for TomaTío.
Planned next, roughly in this order, then ideas the team is exploring.
Planned
Approve or reject a set at once, such as everything from one import or one agent's session. Owners set trust rules per scope, so low-risk changes from trusted agents go live with undo. Each proposal comes with a short summary, a diff and anything risky flagged, and you can review from a daily digest or your AI.
ValuePeople keep the final say, and spend it only where their judgement matters.
Spaces and a page tree per scope, a clean reading view with search and recent changes, and editing in place with comments next to the text. wp-admin stays for the people who run the brain.
ValueA teammate who has never seen TomaTío finds a page and fixes a sentence in under a minute.
The public demo becomes TomaTío's documentation as a brain: connect your AI and ask how TomaTío works or how to run it, with answers from the brain itself. Visitors can make private pages of their own, which expire.
ValueLearn TomaTío by using it, and the docs never drift from the product.
Apps such as an admin area, a backlog view or a roadmap, built as pages in the brain instead of new software to install. Each one keeps what makes the brain trustworthy: scopes, review, version history, private links, the audit log and export.
ValueA new ecosystem: teams and developers share apps the way they share documents, and every app respects the same rules.
Several people and their AIs edit the same document at once and see each other's changes as they happen. Every change still lands in the version history under its author's name, on ordinary hosting.
ValueWrite together the way you do in other editors, without losing the record.
People sign in with the company's identity provider (OpenID Connect first, SAML where needed), groups map to roles and scopes, and leaving the company ends access to the brain and to the AI connections they approved. In the free plugin, like every feature.
ValueLarger organisations can adopt it without handing out passwords.
Today administrators export. The owner will choose a policy: owner only, each member what they and their agents wrote, or everything a member can read, with every export audited.
Value“Take it with you” holds for each person, not only the people who run the brain.
When keyword search falls short on large brains, add semantic recall in the same MySQL database, with no separate vector database. Scopes are checked first, and deleting and export cover it too.
ValueBetter answers from big brains, still on ordinary hosting.
Sign up and get a brain that starts instantly.
ValueTry it for real without installing anything.
A simple chat in the WordPress admin, included with TomaTío and off until you turn it on. Start a topic and it gets its own agent; invite teammates and agents into the thread. Replies use the AI provider your site already has set up in WordPress, so TomaTío never holds your keys.
ValueEveryday WordPress users work with agents where they already work, and every conversation builds the team's brain.
When a project outgrows the admin chat, move it into your own self-hosted Mattermost: one channel per topic, one agent per channel, the history brought along. Manage agents by name from any AI tool, even by voice. Teams that already chat in Mattermost or Slack can add agents to the channels they choose.
ValueRun a whole team of agents from a chat you control, while memory, identity and the audit trail stay in the brain.
Exploring
Always-on personal agents such as Claude Duet and OpenAI Dots connect to the brain over MCP, use it as their memory, and can answer for your team's agents. Built to the open MCP standard, not to one AI company. Teams that want their own model endpoint for privacy can add one.
ValueAgents that work without an API key on your site, on whichever personal agent you already use.
A tidy-up pass that proposes fixes for duplicates, contradictions and stale facts, never silent edits; people, companies and projects with their own timelines.
ValueThe brain stays accurate as it grows.
Approved knowledge, never raw memory, as cross-linked pages: private, for members only, or public.
ValueWhat the team knows becomes documentation, without writing it twice.
A brain on your own machine, or a one-link preview in the browser, moved to hosting later with PCP.
ValueStart small and private, and keep everything when you move.
