TomaTío

How it compares · October 2026

Everyone stores your team's AI context. TomaTío lets you own it and take it anywhere.

One memory that people and agents share and review, on a server you control. 28 options compared; hover or tap any box for the sourced reason.

The moat

Your team's context is yours: on your server, movable anywhere, erased on request.

Others keep context inside their own service or format. TomaTío lets it travel.

What the map saysFew tools serve people and agents together; nobody else lets context travel.

01 · Both sides

Few tools serve people and agents together

Notes tools put people first and add agents later. Memory libraries serve one developer's agent. Macro comes closest, with no approval step and no self-hosting yet.

02 · Review

Review is spreading, and that's good

Notion now lets agents propose edits a person accepts, and Docmost lists page review on Enterprise. TomaTío's difference is a curator queue for knowledge: what agents write counts only once a person approves it.

03 · Portability

Everyone stores context; nobody lets it travel

Markdown tools give you files, hosted tools an export button, and self-hosted tools a database to move by hand. TomaTío moves the whole brain like a WordPress site, and its context in an open protocol, with proof of what was erased.

What else TomaTío does differentlyPages agents build and share, a plugin install, per-block blame, one brain for many agents.

Pages agents build and you share rare

An agent makes a page with its own live data and shares it publicly, privately, as an embed or for members. You see how often it's opened, and can compare and restore versions. Claude Team's shared artifacts come closest.

Team memory that installs like a plugin a unique combination

WordPress's MCP Adapter and AI Engine run on ordinary hosting but control a site. The open-source team tools need Docker, Postgres and more. TomaTío is the team memory with review that runs where WordPress runs.

Who wrote each part uncommon

Provenance and blame per block tell an agent's writing from a person's. Several tools record an agent's changes under the person whose account it used.

One brain, many agents uncommon

Connect once as yourself and switch between your agents by voice; every change is credited to the agent, with you named as the person behind it.

Where others are aheadRetrieval, community, editors, breadth, compliance and more, honestly.
  • Retrieval: Mem0, Zep, Graphiti and Cognee do graph and temporal memory, with published benchmarks. TomaTío's search is simpler.
  • Community: Mem0 has 68k GitHub stars, Cognee 33k and Graphiti 32k; AI Engine has 90k+ active installs. TomaTío is young and small.
  • Editors: Notion, Confluence, Outline, AFFiNE and Docmost have real-time co-editing and richer editors; TomaTío's live co-editing is on the roadmap.
  • Breadth: Macro covers email, chat, calls and CRM in one app. TomaTío is a brain, not a whole workspace.
  • Compliance: Confluence has audit logs from a cheap plan and residency in the EU, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.
  • Encryption: Anytype keeps keys on your devices; Obsidian and Logseq keep plain files locally.
  • No setup: AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md need no server; Claude Team, ChatGPT Business and Copilot Spaces need nothing to host.
  • Extensions: Obsidian, Coda and Confluence have large ecosystems. TomaTío has no extension store yet.
  • Adoption of PCP: PCP is new, and nobody else implements it yet. Plain Markdown is still the most widely readable way to move notes.
  • Not public yet: TomaTío's code goes public at the end of October 2026, and its public documentation isn't where it needs to be.
The open protocol underneathPCP: export, move and erase what an AI knows, with keys you hold.

The Portable Context Protocol (PCP) is an open standard for exporting, moving and erasing what an AI knows, with keys you hold. It's designed to sit alongside memory formats, not replace them, so a team's knowledge in TomaTío isn't locked in TomaTío. Spec: github.com/pcp-protocol/pcp.
